I was recently honored to witness two of Rose’s Journey Scholars, Frank Kiwanuka, BSN, 2016 (honors) and Barbara Namyalo, BSN 2016 graduate with their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, International Health Sciences University. They both will embark on a career in Nursing shortly after their one-year mandatory government internship. Frank and Barabara have been outstanding students during their time at IHSU and have participated in various leadership teams while remaining grounded in service to the community. I hope that this is only the beginning of their leadership journey and that they will continue to emulate the values that define Rose’s Journey: striving for excellence in service, leadership, servant heart, inspiring and empowering others, as well as advocacy for change in the healthcare industry. Thank you to all who continue to support the scholarship program.
